State Games of North Carolina, Charlotte

United will play its first games in the Charlotte area when it participates in the State Games of North Carolina over the weekend of June 18-20, 2010.  The State Games were the first tournament United ever participated in when, at U8, the team went to the tournament when it was in Cary.  Coincidentally, it will also be the last tournament that the team will participate in.  The State Games are an Olympic-style tournament complete with an opening ceremony/athlete parade/torch lighting and gold/silver/bronze winners.  More information on the State Games is available by clicking on the link to the left.

The following families owe $6.67 for this tournament:  Bournazian, Elmorsi.
